An organisation’s unique system has evolved from its original founder’s Vision and Purpose.

Systemic consulting sees the organisation as a ‘Living System’. Working with the whole system in mind, I support the process of returning the Organisation to health and cohesion, so it continues to thrive and grow.   

Challenging dilemmas arise as a result of invisible dynamics and repeating patterns in the system. These may include unresolved trauma such as redundancies, death, mergers, acquisitions and difficult leavings and endings.

Over the past twenty five years projects have included: Supporting a Board’s transitionary journey from a Family Owned Business to a Corporate PLC, Integrating European Businesses into a US owned Multinational and Merging three culturally diverse and competitor businesses.     

This unique and pioneering approach acknowledges that a person doesn’t operate in isolation, that in fact they are part of a complex web of an interdependent and dynamic ‘field’. This ’field’ operates through our connection to invisible and unconscious loyalties and powerful, deeply ingrained rules and beliefs around belonging.

Systemic Coaching brings things to light to facilitate the letting go of parts that no longer serve our growth and development. It enables us to release fresh resources so we move forward, grow and thrive.

Coaching assignments have included: A Board Executive who was facing a serious dilemma that could have affected his credibility and reputation, a Senior Partner whose ambition was to move to the next level in their Law Firm but had to navigate some tricky political issues to get there, A Chief executive who needed to transform a particularly toxic culture in a very complex organisation.

Working with Senior Teams, it’s important to honour the authority, boundaries, confidentiality and the hidden loyalties and entanglements that exist at this level.

Using wide and deeply held previous experience working with Teams with high levels of power and authority, the approach incorporates high level of expertise in Advanced Group Dynamics, Gestalt work and High Emotional Intelligence.

The aim is to develop the Team in how to use powerful Systemic Leadership Practices. This enables them to discover their unique, authentic power and to have a strong sense of their place in the Organisational System so they feel a deeper sense belonging to the Team.

Previous work includes: The formation of a Senior Team to embody shared purpose, vision and values, the ongoing development of a Board that was facing substantial change and transition, the integration of executives who joined the Board through acquisition.       

 

Dynamic, inspirational and engaging facilitation and the creation of a safe space encourages people to explore and collaborate in resolving challenging and complex dilemmas.

Using creative, systemic practices, this high level facilitation, although simple in design, provides a group with a fascinating and highly effective way of exploring, illuminating and resolving issues.

A highly respected, long standing reputation for working with both large and small groups has evolved from the development of high levels of trust, deep insight and wisdom.

Types of work include: Facilitating the resolution of conflicting cultural issues in acquisitions, Creating deeper dialogue and greater understanding amongst opposing political parties, Leading the dialogue and facilitating agreement amongst the Senior UK faith leaders, exploring, clarifying and resolving deeply held resistance to change in an Organisation, the preferred consultancy to develop Senior Leaders in Advanced Facilitation as part of a Global Culture Change Programme.
